Facing severe market competitions, SAIS has contracted PDM project of SAIC Motor and undertook the key technical work of the project, especially the cooperating development management work between SAIC Motor in Shanghai and Ricardo 2010 in England. SAIS showed its solid PDM technical capability and impressive working style of seriousness and endeavor, which is highly appreciated and praised by Chinese and English engineers of SAIC Motor, Ricardo 2010 and UGS company. SAIS two PDM experts have accomplished the installment testing of production environment, provided application training to PDM customers, realized design cooperation of Multi-Site mode and completed W261 data passing and information transplanting.

The SKODA-ADS (Automobile Dealer System) 1.0 Edition of Shanghai Volkswagen, which is provided by SAIS subsidiary company, Shanghai Allways Information Technology Co., Ltd., was officially released and successfully put into operation as scheduled this March. The project of SKODA-ADS research and development has the features of large range, frequent changes, short schedule and high quality demand. Shanghai Allways Information Technology Co., Ltd. smoothly fulfilled the system’s development and operation on the basis of their great efforts in project management, technology innovation, quality assurance and customer service.

SAIS is NX and TC Engineering training center authorized by American UGS company with 5 trainers certified by UGS and is also the professional training organization of CATIA Software with 4 experienced trainers. From January to May this year, SAIS has already provided over 40 training services to nearly 600 engineers, in the fields of multi-kind application training programs for product design and development, e.g. CAD software, PDM software and other related knowledge and tools.

SAIS establishes Shanghai ASAP Technologies Co., Ltd.
Shanghai ASAP Technologies Co., Ltd. (ASAP) invested by SAIS comes into existence officially on May 24th 2002. This high-tech company is engaged on IT consulting, enterprise resource planning and implementation, enterprise solutions. At the moment, the company provides primarily SAP services based on ASP model to SAIC whole-vehicle manufacturers, component factories and other companies.

SAIS Provides SAP Services to UAES
From last November, SAIS has been providing SAP Basis & Consulting services based on ASP model to United Automotive Electronic System Co., Ltd. (UAES). Up to now, the project goes well through good cooperation between the UAES and SAIS in the one year. At present, the project is being implemented by ASAP, a subsidiary of SAIS.

In 2003, SAIS has made steady progress in business with revenue 89,530,000 RMB, and net profit 3,620,000 RMB. And the number of staff increased to 84.

In May 2004, SAIS invested to establish Shanghai Allways Information Technology Co. Ltd. providing clients with services of information technology consultation, customer's relation management, dealership management system, technical management of automotive logistics, call center development and integration, and IT outsourcing.

SAIS PLM BBS opens. Welcome!
Since September 2004, the PLM department of SAIS has its BBS. The main sections are CAD, PDM and chatting room. Everyone can discuss or give comments on different software design models there. We aim to provide interactive communication platform for net friends to exchange design technologies and share experience, and help each other to resolve problems. We are sure that it will enrich our knowledge and experience in using such application software as CAD , PDM ,etc.
